To all Residents of East Lake Village

I wanted to be sending this out announcing that the individual home installs of our new IPTV Platform were to begin. As it was explained at the cable meeting that was held in February 2018, all the services are contractually to be completed by August 1. 2018 and they had hoped to begin the installs late June or early July 18, 2018. That timeline is not going to be met.  I’ve been in contact with Opticaltel this past week and today in an attempt to get a more updated picture for all of you.

 Opticaltel is in the middle of a complicated platform change in able to provide us with the Video delivered by an IPTV platform that involves many moving parts and dealing with multiple companies in order to make this happen properly. During negotiations we anticipated this possibly happening and we included a monetary penalty to Opticaltel should they not meet the August 1 deadline.

Opticaltel is working diligently to bring this to completions, so be patient as we all walk through this needed upgrade together.

No individual account (home) should be billed for internet service as of August 1 2018 unless you currently are getting more than 100 mbps. So if you are billed for internet for August please call Opticaltel and they will straighten that billing error out.
